Yesterday we did the awesome-ist things ever. We went ziplining. We got to go on a four line zipline and we even got to go upside down on it. We are in Queenstown, on the South Island. We flew down the day before yesterday. My grandparents are down here with us.
We also went on the luge. The luge is a sled with wheels, brakes and steering. There are two courses for the luge here in Queenstown. Both are at the top of the mountain. One is called the scenic track, which is the easy track. One is called the Advanced Track. I went on the advanced track most of the time. Sometimes I would get airborn.
We go to the top of the mountain by a gondola. It was raining when we did the luge so I was practically frozen. But when I went in the cafe I got too hot and needed to go out and do the luge some more, even though it was freezing.
My mom is trying to figure out the pictures, so look for them later.

So Long Waihiki
As I sit in this amazing cafe, drinking fresh organic orange juice, with my sausage burrito, cooked to perfection, I look around and realize we are leaving for Queenstown today. Yesterday, we rode on a magnificent ferry to Waihiki island. We took an awesome tour. I was happy we drove instead of walked. The island had a couple thousand people and it had a tropical landscape. You could overlook the skyscrapers in Auckland, including the Space Needle. It's the tallest tower in Auckland. People even pay $240 to jump off the space needle. That's crazy, huh? We had lunch and played UNO. It was delicious. I still have jetlag and fell asleep at dinner.

Auckland, New Zealand
Ahhh, with the salty breeze, the crispy sunshine and a relaxing park bench, this is Auckland, New Zealand.
It's my first full day in New Zealand. It's a very different country from the US. People drive on the right side of the car. They have different license plates and they use the metric system. It take me a lot mental math to figure out how many miles we are from our destination. So far, I love it here.
We are about to take a boat ride to an island with a beach. I will send pictures soon.

In-Flight
We just got out of our 14 hour flight. We visited Australia for a couple hours. I wanted a boomerang. Now we're on the plane to Auckland and the people are about to serve us lunch. Once again, I have my own tv. I just beat my mom in battleship.

Hi, this is Kai here speaking. I wish you guys could come with me. Tonight we're flying on a plane to Sydney, Australia at midnight. I'm all packed up (almost), and I'm so excited. I will have my own TV on the seat on the plane. The plane will be two stories high!
When you guys have Saturday, I will be in Sunday, cuz we are on the southern hemisphere.
